Every time Suarez has had a bite it's been associated with trying to get a move. Maybe coincidence, maybe not...but the correlation is there.

And I don't doubt that the sanction will be reduced, and I don't doubt that Barcelona will get better treatment from the powers that be than Liverpool does -- if not from FIFA, certainly from the Spanish FA. At this point the English FA would sack Suarez up for half a season if he looks at someone wrong.

But if FIFA said Liverpool doesn't have standing to appeal, I can't imagine how they'd say Barcelona does.

You're apparently stupid, then. It's hard to argue that Costa Rica wasn't getting shafted by the calls, just as Mexico did (Robben dove twice in the box) and just as Nigeria did. Evra should have been at fault for two goals in the first half today. That much is obvious -- I don't know if the ESPN broadcast was a lot more biased or what, but on the BBC it was extremely apparent. The commentator during the game took note of the license that the referee gave Evra rather than giving him the penalty he deserved, and the Nigeria goal was shown to be onside because Evra held the scorer level by being out of position (Sakho factor as well).

Fortunately, Costa Rica was able to overcome because Greece just sucks that much, whereas Holland and France were merely not the better teams that day.
