If Argentina wins the World Cup without scoring a single goal in their final 2 matches........ugh.
 
So why were the group stage matches awesome and the knockout stage matches somewhat... grinding? Just a matter of clinched buttholes due to more to lose?

Wow. Why on earth did the keeper play the near corner and leave the rest wide open?
 
Great, great effort from Shurrle to get that cross in and just incredible first touch and finish from Goetze.

Exactly. The camera in goal showed just how great that finish was. Me had almost no space to score far post. Great great goal
 
I know I'm not a soccer fan, but I bet of other Americans would agree with what I'm about to say. No team that doesn't score in the semi-finals or the finals deserves even to be in overtime much less have a chance to a championship in any sport.
 
Yep. As a goalie you have to deny the near post and if the guy can actually squeeze it into the far post from there you just have to tip your cap.

That was a worthy goal to win a World Cup. Tremendous finish.
 
Getting beat at the near post is similar to letting a guy drive baseline on you. That was just a technically perfect chest to volley far post.
