Bright colors wouldn't be dark and brooding enough.

I am not advocating for carnival red. But they could have done darker colors and still made it clear it was red

Though I'm sure it will look better on film

Should you be so sure? I'm not sure there is a piece of news about this film that hasn't lowered my expectations for it.

Footage sounds a lot like we're headed for an Avengers: Disassembled / Civil War storyline. I am PUMPED.

Sounds very much like Disassembled. My hope has always been that A:2 would have a Disassembled style storyline that would lead into the phase three movies...Stark on the run, Cap on trial, Thor facing death/Ragnarok, Hulk exiled, etc...with them finally pulling themselves together to face Thanos in A:3.

That sounds like it.

Oh HELL YEAH!

The first 2 Mad Max movies are in my pantheon of favorites.

I'll put this here instead of the "Trailers for movies you want to see" thread because

1) Max is a super hero.
2) That other thread takes an annoyingly long time to load for me.

I saw Lucy, Boyhood, and Happy Christmas this weekend.

Lucy was meh, but see the other two ASAP.

Read up about Boyhood today and definitely want to check it out.

Saw Snowpiercer last night. Pretty entertaining, but kind of dumb. Was expecting more.

I'd highly recommend Boyhood. There are so many incredible moments with great performances from Hawke, Arquette, and Coltrane. It just felt real, though. I feel like I lived at least 3/4 of this movie, and I'm guessing most suburban millennials will feel similarly. I'm still a bit speechless. Easily my favorite movie of the year.

If you liked Drinking Buddies, then you'll like Happy Christmas. Same director and equally endearing story. There isn't much in the way of action, but it's a really enjoyable film, IMO.
