Give me some Cameron or Sosa

He played today.

Yep. Big surprise!

I had to record the 2nd half and just watched part of it (until I couldn't take any more). From the little I saw Cameron looked as good as Wolford only more athletic. He is bigger and looked to be quicker on his feet. I understand building for the future; but isn't Tyler a R-Soph?

I think so. Hard to imagine we have significantly less effective QBs on the roster.

I can't believe he is still on the team after drunkenly driving a car onto the Quad

Wolford may be more accurate but that is irrelevant when you are on your back. I agree. We can't protect the Qb. Run a more physical player there.

The line isn't magically going to be able to protect Cameron or Souza or Brett Favre for that matter. Not sure why replacing the QB would make a difference. It didn't today.
Still trying to figure out why Ford, Interman etc (you know, the guys who are supposed to launch a run game and keep the QB upright but aren't doing either) are untouchable. Is the cupboard really that bare? As bad as those guys are, is the drop off that big?

[ronwhite]Well, I think that was a trumped up charge because the police were stopping any car driving on the quad that night, and that's profiling. Which is wrong.[/ronwhite]

Cameron wasn't asked to do much during his time yesterday, but the few passes he did throw looked solid. At least we have a Bye week now to hopefully get healed up and some new things installed on Offense. Hope to see more Wortham and less Reynolds in the coming weeks.

Sorry, didn't notice as I stopped watching after awhile. Though the stats show he had no carries and no passing attempts. I guess he just handed off a few times. I think as long as he's going to play it would be worth it to at least try him in some QB run plays. Maybe they will work on that during the next 2 weeks.

It was easy to miss. He played one play in the first half. TV missed it too until they saw Wolford come back on the field.

some who have done MUCH worse weren't kicked off and played multiple seasons after their incidents. With that said, I was surprised we saw him yesterday. I figured Clawson wants the scholarship to use elsewhere.

Wolford is not as big, and can't handle the abuse. He needs to sit. There is no reason to beat him to death. The other kids are more likely to be successful because they can run for their lives better, and can handle it physically.

Some of you guys are terrible.

Wolford is the starter because he's considerably better than everyone else. You don't sit him because he "might get hurt." Sousa sucks and drove a car onto the quad and shouldn't be playing (embarrassing that we let him back on the field) while Cameron can hardly complete a ten yard pass downfield. We could put Peyton Manning behind this offensive line and get absolutely nothing.

God some of you don't know a damn thing about sports.

Too many people are confusing "Wolford isn't that good" with "Wolford shouldn't start this season."

Yeah people think Wolford sucks and say "play somebody else" without considering who the "somebody else" is.

I don't mean to be divisive or start some sort of debate, but I don't consider smoking pot a couple times and getting caught to be worse than driving a car onto the quad while hammered. I know you won't (and really shouldn't to be honest haha) release information about what people have done that's worse, but I can't imagine too many people have continued to play for committing worse offenses than this and if they have then that's an embarrassing result for Grobe and co. over the past few years in and of itself.

And I'm astonished that we let Sousa play, it's embarrassing to the university.

dont be so self righteous nonsense ninja. nobody outside of the biggest wake fans know our backup qb was in trouble.

I was talking about you. You're taking any criticism of Wolford as wanting to bench him. People love to rally around freshmen who try hard especially on bad teams. See Price as an example. I'm for finding someone better.

I'm #trustinclawson here. But I see nothing wrong with wondering if someone else can do better at every position we've seen be ineffective on this team. That includes QB. Wolford hasn't earned his spot in six games. He only earned it in practice.

People ARE calling to bench him. Pretty sure numbers is responding to those people.
