Concessions

How do you sell out of either? One 40lb box could probably supply the entire stadium. Did they lose hot water again?

There was hot water in the bathroom sinks in the 4th quarter.

Been to multiple college venues this year including WF... service and food has been lackluster at all of them. Don't think we're alone on this. Last weekend the exact same thing happened at an 80,000 seat stadium - ran out of hot chocolate in the 1Q.

Last night at halftime, on the visitor's side, the main concession stand was just comical how poorly it was run. Not sure what would have transpired if there was a 80% or full crowd. Every one of the people that was running a cash register probably took 2-3 minutes too long per customer. Extremely inefficient to say the least. The lines were probably 25 deep all the way across. Needs serious attention.

Yeah, that's the problem with this anti-social form of social media. Sometimes, you don't know with whom you're communicating. Some people who claim to know "the facts" are, in actuality, receiving their information third-hand. They're getting it from, oh, let's say for example, their daddy who is being spoon-fed a biased version that the Athletic Department wants them to believe. These people, then, go online to spread this third-hand info and, ironically, wind up encountering people who really know what went down and how it went down - first-hand, i.e. the facts.

How much do you get paid to be an Atheltic Department mouthpiece?

It was emabarrassing. It's the one thing you don't run out of on a 45 degree, windy night. At the Army game they ran out of ice, which is the one thing you don't run out of on a 80 degree day. Figured the home side would be better this year but that's definitely not the case. No one in charge, no one accountable.

I know. How do they not have cases of this stuff they can get to if they need it? It's not like it's going to go bad. They just use Swiss Miss packets in hot water from the coffee machine, for crying out loud.

If anyone was actually "in charge", they would have had someone on their way to Costco when they realized they were way low on supply to meet the demand.

Anybody planning on going to the basketball game tonight? I don't suppose things will be any different at LJVM

They will probably hand out free hot chocolate at an indoor event to make up for last night

To be fair they did have 200 people handing out free bags of Utz potato chips at the gates as you left
