• Welcome to OGBoards 10.0, keep in mind that we will be making LOTS of changes to smooth out the experience here and make it as close as possible functionally to the old software, but feel free to drop suggestions or requests in the Tech Support subforum!

Snow

And it will be predicted to be 5-7 inches and we will actually get 1.5 inches and the entire state of North Carolina will cease to function for the next 5 days.

There are times when I want to just pick up and move to Florida.

5 days = the weekend, so no schools closed! yayyyyyyyyyyyy!

Accuweather is the first to make a big call for the mountains on Wednesday PM/Thursday AM with 6-10 inches

Speaking of, how are things out in Raleigh now? We're supposed to be heading out for the Canes game tonight in a couple hours, and I was wondering what to expect on 40.

Shitty. Its supposed to stop mid afternoon though, so hopefully they'll have it cleaned up by the time you leave. The local stations have been broadcasting live all morning.

I left at 9:30. Slid some on Old Oak Ridge Road getting on Bryan but smooth sailing after that. No problems on 40 to WS.

I forget every time that we must live very close to each other.

Leave early. It might not be bad around puck drop, but it's been a parking lot most of the day.

With the temp hardly breaking freezing today, I'd bank on schools being closed again tomorrow and then when the snow hits us Wednesday night we can count on closure for the rest of the week.

I feel bad for the teachers and volunteers over at Hanes/Lowrance who are supposed to be moving to their new campuses on Friday. The movers come Thursday and Friday was already a teacher work day (for Hanes/Lowrance only) to complete the move so the new campuses can be opened on Monday.

Given what I've seen in my part of Guilford, not only are the streets clear, but they're also dry.
