Yeah, they have no vested interest in a "realistic" peace plan. If only they'd pay attention to the American left, things would be wonderful! After all, this administration has served as a beacon of light and peace for the entire world...
no, the consensus is that the ME is full of assholes and that we should not be (as) involved nor let one or two players determine the course of our foreign policy.
I must be naive but is the consensus on this board that Israel is the problem. Iran should be trusted and Palestinians know the true path to peace?
Not really an either or scenario in the ME.

You are a fucking moron.
I don't know if there is a board consensus on Israel, but my personal opinion is, with the amount of money we give them, we should be able to get them to not bomb children playing on the beach.
But we can't, because if you say that in the US, it is considered by many to be the same as saying that Israel is the problem, Iran should be trusted, and Palestinians know the true path to peace.
The U.S. is more like Israel's "rich uncle" than anything else. We provide them with money & weapons and they pretty much do whatever they damned well please.
I'm against religious extremist warmongering regardless of religion, nationality, or political leanings. If that puts me at odds with American conservatives, Israel, and Iran, so be it.

So the issue is Israel keeps bombing children on the beach?
