Worst Parent of 2015

Seems like all the parents involved in this are lame. I don't get why a parent would complain, but the parent is raising a stink over a letter she bought and that her kid obviously didn't earn. Seems like a ploy for sympathy to me. I really liked this part: "KSN also asked Thiessen if the school would consider giving a varsity letter to special needs kids." Yeah, let's get right on that idea.

yeah, fuck those retards, right?

Giving them a varsity letter for the sake of being retarded is definitely a dumb idea, and that was what was implied with the question that I highlighted from the article.

Earning a letter meant something to me in HS. I worked my ass off for it, and was a 3 year letterman in one sport and 1 year in another. We also had kids walking around with letters for band or for JROTC things-- basically nonathletic endeavors. It wasn't a big deal to us, as there was kind of an unspoken understanding that athletic letters were "real" and all that other wimpy shit wasn't. One would think that in this case, everybody with a letter in that HS knew that the kid didn't really earn the letter. As PhillyDeac said, there was probably some embarrassment from the kids that this issue even popped up, unless the kid was just a jackass like his parent(s).

I've had it with these RETARDS ruining the sanctity of the letter jacket.

congrats on earning a varsity hs letter. what an awesome accomplishment in life. that certainly makes you better than those stupid retards.

god damn you suck. i mean, you really fucking suck.

The letter probably means a whole lot more to the kid with downs than anyone who "earned" it.

can't decide if better or worse than not punching a dude afraid you might kill him

I mean, I was pretty excited about my letter. We also had a manager with special needs that got a letter and it didn't even cross my mind that wasn't okay.

I want to know how the parent of the student with special needs is exactly as lame as the parent who called to complain about the letter jacket

Well I guess you should earn a letter too since you are apparently too fucking retarded to engage in basic reading comprehension.

Because she apparently went online and bought the shit without giving consideration to the fact that such things are earned. I figure the kid expressed some interest in a letter jacket and she wanted to appease him. I get that. Apparently it was easier to spend the money and order online than it was to blow off the kid's wish/request.

it's a hs varsity letter you stupid loser. the retards probably had to do more to earn it than you did (let me guess, wrestling) just by having to deal with jackholes like you in high school.

you really are a terrible person. i hope you end up with a retarded kid.
