Meanwhile, nice 35% from the field and 17% from 3 from Jamal Crawford with his usual brand of terrible defense this series
 
Talk about dat #kawhi defense. 42 minutes for Redick, didn't even attempt a single 3 pointer all game.

Damn. JJ adjusted nicely though. It's always been annoying how good he is at getting to the basket even as a pure shooter.

Duncan is the oldest player to record three 20/10 games in a playoff series.

This series is incredible. That game was absolutely terribly officiated. The refs were nowhere close to prepared for the intensity of the game. Between Leonard, Paul, Blake, and Duncan, I don't think another series in the rest of the playoffs will feature a higher level of play. All of those guys are playing near flawless basketball, just comically good. Moments where they are completely unstoppable. It's a shame it's buried in the middle of the night.
 
for someone who was bricking wide open looks, dirk sure looked relaxed in the post game press conference.
 
I haven't seen the tech yet. Is it safe to assume CP3 was doing CP3 things all game long until the ref finally had enough?
 
The only thing I can imagine that would warrant a tech right there is if when he passed the ball he mouthed off to the ref. OBviously we can't tell, but it is pretty easy to image that CP3 would say something right there as a part of that pass to the ref.

Then the ref needs to sack up. It's too important a game for a ref to get prideful and butthurt causing him to insert himself into the outcome of the game.

Watching it live it didn't seem like CP said much of anything. The ref was just being a bitch.
 
doesn't matter if the ref's jimmies were rustled or not. you have to play through it and not risk hurting your team. i suspect i would have a chance to lead the league in techs.

also, what a good game. tons of great (and terrible plays) by both teams. san antonio needs to play with the same fire and poise. clips need to get help from their awful bench again. doc needs to stay out of their way.
 
Speaking of rustled jimmies - I just told Billy the intern (Clips fan/millennial) to get a juice box with his whining over last night's game! Haha!! He told me I had one brown shoe and one black shoe on, and that he'd guard the office bathroom door while I used the sink to wash up.

That was one of the worst officiated playoff games i’ve been to. Tiven seemed rattled after that blown GT call early in game.

Kennedy had it in for Doc and the clips from jump (as usual) and Foster was wildly inconsistent + trying to make up for other 2s mistakes
