Besides Moon, I don't believe anyone thinks Manning is definitely gonna be a failure here. The "doom and gloom" crowd is part of the "jury is still out" crowd. Just a little more concerned and a little less sunshiney.

agree with this. very few actual "doomers." after the last few years there are a heck of a lot in the wait and see camp with most having some overlap in the cautiously optimistic camp. the perceived negativity is because manning has missed on some of his priority targets and the cautious optimism has been tempered a little.

i am all about dropping any negativity or concern this weekend in favor of #VIBES with giles visiting.

I'm more than willing to admit that I haven't enjoyed watching WFU basketball in a long damn time.
 
The volleyball team has been used on more than one occasion for recruiting purposes.

Women's volleyball players can be pretty persuasive at times.
 
Anybody on campus know if there has been an effort to pack out the volleyball game tonight since Giles will be there? During my time there I probably could never tell you when the volleyball team was playing, so I can't imagine that attendance will be that great. Hopefully they take him to the soccer game tomorrow since those are always a lot of fun.
 
Who the hell am I kidding? We've sucked for so long that that there probably aren't any current students on here.

I went to a college volleyball with my family a few weeks ago and had a great time. I have no idea why I didn't go to more volleyball games at Wake. I don't think I even knew any volleyball players. I've always played volleyball and I love tall chicks. My wife even played in college. No clue why young Ph didn't check out more games.
