Santorum has a similar problem. Served with roughly 320 'Pubs over 16 years in Congress and only 3 endorsed him for president in 2012. Lost by 18 points in 2006 after serving two full terms in the Senate. Fellow 'Pubs he served with and PA voters are going to know Frothy better than anyone.

There's nobody left in the race to the right of Trump and Cruz, so hardcore idealogues have to pick one. Prickly HRC beats either in a general election thanks to demographics and because of Trump's loose cannoness and Cruz's oddness. Cuddly Hillary gets indicted and dopey Biden crushes both.

If the long rumored Rubio mistress bomb ever does drop, GOP may not even have an out since the base hates Christie, Kasich, Jeb, and Mitt.

I've apparently been using the word incorrectly for years now. It has a formal definition (bewildered) and an informal one in North America (unimpressed, the usage I had adopted). So I'm just going to move it onto the list of words to avoid using.
 
Chris Wallace's Fox interview with Ben Carson was painful. Carson's numbers have collapsed since Paris and Wallace basically said he was unqualified and it's not his time. Carson pushed back a little bit, but seemed like he knows he's done. Not going to win Iowa or anywhere else and not going to be the VP nominee. Wihout Carson, Huckabee, and Santorum in the race, evangelicals will have no other option than Cruz.

On the other hand Trump was on Face the Nation and was brutally honest. I actually listened to the whole 7 minute interview and came away seeing a guy that I thought was doing this as The Apprentice II to a guy that thinks he can be President. I'll never vote for him but I can see a large swath of the Pub part voting for him but no one else.

Cruz pulls ahead of Trump in Iowa 23-19. Rubio third with 17 and Carson fourth with 13.

I wonder if this includes people from Kosovo, or other eastern Europe countries that have heavy Muslim populations. These people are pasty white with Slavic sounding names and I'm sure would pass his "eye test" but... Muslim.
