General Election Thread: Two Weeks Out

Trump ads go up in FL, PA, OH, and NC on Friday. Trailing outside of the margin of error in all four states. No Trump ads in VA, so have to run the table in those four states and hang in until the bitter end. Suprise loss(es) in AZ or GA (trail within the MOE) would also be ball game. Sincere condolences to any posters in those 7 states, although VA will be ad free through September if HRC doesn't turn the fire hose back on.

Yeah if there's no discussion made because of it and it's just a link could chalk it up to the spam column. For example Rubes posts, polls and commentary with insight not spam. Doofus and numbers 50% of time a link with nothing to it, could be spam. Other 50% discussion with link not spam, moonz polls with oops also probably spam. However the non-spam attribute to all those posts except sometimes moonz is they arent posted back to back to back to back in a furry but more like here and there.

It's not my fault if there's no discussion made from the Hillshill/pc crowd to what I post- that's up to them. And this idiotic notion you've concocted, and subjectively apply, that anything posted is spam unless the poster comments is foolish. Not to mention I regularly comment on much of the stuff I post.

Can there really be any undecided voters left at this point? I simply can't believe either Trump or HRC can say or do anything at this point to change anyone's mind.

Those poor folks in the swing states need to discover Netflix or Amazon Prime for the next 3 months if they already haven't.

I can see why he is pushing for the system is rigged and cheating occurs if I lose PA. The fact he is relying on PA is a bad sign, it doesn't look good for him there and the fact lately it hasn't been a swing state. I can see him winning 3 of those 4 maybe if everything breaks just right but 4/4 not happening.

That clown is the Trump attorney who claimed there is no such thing as spousal rape last year during Trump's first wife's account of an alleged rape in a book. Haven't heard from him since then.

Have no idea why they keep putting Katrina Pierson in front of cameras. She's as dumb as a box of rocks and as credible as Baghdad Bob.

For Tireless Rebutter there is no such thing as a trivial dispute. He regards all challenges as barbarians at the gates. His unflagging tenacity in making his points numbs and eventually wears down the opposition. Confident that his arguments are sound, Tireless Rebutter can't understand why he is universally loathed.

It's weird they've left themselves no margin for error. At least advertise in VA, IA, AZ, and GA. Seems like a tacit acknowledgment they don't have sufficient resources. Conway should realiy help them. At least she won't babble about winning NY, CA, and CT.

From E-V.com about Trump sabotaging the campaign and totally losing young voters for the foreseeable future.

We may never know for sure if Trump really is self-sabotaging. Even if he "admits" to doing so after the campaign, well, "I wasn't really trying to win!" is something he might say to save face even if it's not true. Regrettably for his party, however, Trump 2016 may not be the only thing he is damaging. Polls reveal that Hillary Clinton has a massive lead of 56% to 20% among voters under 35. If this holds, and there's no reason to believe it won't, then that will mark three consecutive elections where the Democrats captured younger voters by a margin of 10 points or more, something that's never happened since this data first began to be collected in 1952. Trump is not solely responsible for costing the GOP a generation of voters, as the Washington Post's Michael Gerson puts it, but he is closing the deal, to use his own parlance.

Just pointing out the following are all spam according to the TWMD.

well to elaborate on my post. Trotting out that guy and that being his response to being down in polls is, IMO, complete amateur hour for the Trump campaign. Rather than "SAYS WHO" maybe some commentary on the plan to improve poll numbers, reference the two speeches on terrorism and law and order that Trump made earlier in the week, talk about the ad buy and how the race is actually starting now, etc.

Or just you know, "SAYS WHO" and coming off like a jackass

It's regrettable. Personally, I don't care. Just pointing out the hypocrisy.

Yes I don't care for posts that are just aggregates of articles as there are plenty of sites that do that and I come here for discussion and personal thoughts. However in your density you seemed to miss the key definition of what I said which is over and over again. Show me on this page where those posters posted multiple non-commentary back to back to back and you can point out some spamming hypocrisy.

I post occasionally on another politics board that leans left and there is a libertarian poster that raises the hackles of the people on the left that I regularly defend because he is a good poster who brings string discussion game to any thread.

Then there is Bob.
