Trump Will Win the Nomination

I mean, somebody explain to me how doubting the veracity of O's long form birth certificate is racist. Why is that conspiracy theory racist but others aren't?

I am not certain it is racist, but I think there are indicators. Why is that the only president in the last 50 years (and maybe ever) who's birthplace veracity we've challenged was the one black guy despite producing multiple versions of his birth certificate from the state of Hawaii? On top of that Trump has a history of racist actions and statements that support the notion that he is a racist and therefore was racially motivated.

There are nut jobs out there who think that W was in on 9/11. Does that make them racist? No. They are nut jobs. The fact that O's father was of African descent as opposed to European descent doesn't make nut jobs who think he wasn't born in this country racist. It makes them nut jobs. I'm sure there are some birthers who are racist. No doubt. But that doesn't make birtherism racist, no matter how many times you and the other donkeys say it.

How dare you declare TWO THIRDS OF TRUMP SUPPORTERS NUT JOBS!!!

Do you find nut jobs deplorable?

Two thirds of Trump supporters are voting AGAINST Hillary, not FOR Trump. I couldn't imagine too many level headed folks are too passionate about either candidate. The deplorable nonsense and calling Trump supporters nut jobs is weak and needs to die down. It's making the libs sound even more pretentious than most of you really are.

I'm not aware of any other president who had his publisher claim that he was born in a foreign country before entering politics. Also, it was a little strange that O waited so long after the issue arose to produce the long form. Doing that just enabled the conspiracy theorists.

Again, I'm sure there are birthers who are racist. But I don't think that believing O was born in Kenya makes someone a racist. A little kooky, yeah, but not a racist.

Yep, not necessarily racist, but Trump has so many other racist-y actions it is very easy to question his motivation here.

For me the bigger issue is believing in something despite sting evidence to the contrary. Several years after Obama had produced a birth certificate and released it, Trump kept insisting on the long form, and then even after that he questioned its authenticity. It was extremely bizarre behavior, and very troubling for a potential commander in chief to cling to an idea despite heaps of opposing evidence.

Birthers also add Obama being a Muslim; how he got into Columia; how he got into Harvard Law; that he was AA for Harvard Law Review and many other things.

There is a lot of information here.

-Two thirds of Trump voters don't even like him.
-That commielib Junebug called birthers "nut jobs."
-It so happens that two thirds of Trump supporters, er, voters, are birthers. If two thirds of Trump voters are also simply voting against Hillary, there must be some significant overlap. Remind me how birtherism or voting Trump because you're not "too passionate" is in any way "level headed."

Are these your words or can you cite a source that claims this was done at Obama's direction?

I believe you are referencing a pamphlet put out prior to the book being published. The author of the pamphlet has stated that it was in error, and nowhere was she told by Obama or anyone else that he was born in Kenya. The very book they were publishing doesn't say that either.

Stop being bothered by facts. Trump followers will believe every lie they told. Even after the lie are proven they don't care.

Hands up don't shoot
if you like your doctor you can keep your doctor
Didn't send any classified ...... Ahh nevermind you lack so little self awareness it doesn't help pointing out the comedy in your statement.

The man claims he has this awesome plan for defeating ISIS, one of the world's great crises, yet he's so selfish he won't give any details about it because someone might steal his idea. It's a giant FU to the world.

as opposed to Obama's plan to leave Iraq and Afghanistan to which he let everyone know including the enemies who just waited for him to leave. how did that go?

The comma is right under the L. No doubt it was his fat fingers on his massive hands that led to the error.

twitter grammarian, you've found your calling, God speed and farewell Townie

Just saying you've found a remarkably low bar for your presidential candidate, GOP, when these are your refrains. Proofreading tweets isn't all that tough. To be fair and balanced, I'm often chagrined by Hillary's twitter feed too. I've not been more viscerally angry with a tweet than "tell us how you feel about your student loans in emojis.

The contortions that certain people will go through to state that nothing, and I mean NOTHING, is racist is something to behold. Just remember, when it comes to racism, #pubswillalwaysdefend.

You mean leaving Iraq on by the rules of the treaty signed by W?
