Trump Will Win the Nomination

No question, yet the race is still close. Weird, huh?

Considering he kicked the ass of every Pub candidate that was actually qualified to be President with an assortment of BS and insults, I would say that it makes a pretty compelling statement about the right half of this country.

Meanwhile, your candidate had to rig the election to beat a batty socialist who 90% of the country would have mistaken for a t.v. writer 18 months ago. I've seen what a mandate looks like, and that ain't it.

The difference is that what I said is actually true.

Right. The chairman of your party had to resign in disgrace when her emails putting her thumb on the scale came out, and couldn't even attend her own(!) convention, but who has time for facts like that? LOL@Superdelgates.

At the end of the day, Clinton won every large state and every state that had a diverse population and just aout every swing state. The race wasn't very close even though Sanders won every caucus and concentrated white state. The superdelegates had no impact on the results.

The nonsense about the leaked emails was overblown. And the suggestion about her putting her finger on the scales is nonsense too. It was office chatter. Embarrassing for DWS at a time when the Sanders supporters emotions were pretty raw.

I am sure that RNC email office chatter during that time was pristine while Trump was highjacking the party!!!

I get it though. It's a good wedge issue for the right so you are going to try to mine it for all it is worth.

Aaaaand she's out.

Trump campaign county chair who said ‘no racism until Obama got elected’ apologizes, resigns

"My personal comments were inappropriate, and I apologize. I am not a spokesperson for the campaign and was not speaking on its behalf. I have resigned as the volunteer campaign chair in Mahoning County and as an elector to the Electoral College to avoid any unnecessary distractions."

Pretty surprised that was enough to knock her off the campaign, tbh. PC run amok.

You mean other than psychological, I assume.

Sure. Just like Sanders got a psychological boost from caucus states that would have voted Clinton or much closer with a traditional primary vote.

The only reason donkeys are running from Hillary's role in birtherism is that they have convinced themselves that birtherism was racist. At the start anyway, it wasn't. It was a legitimate question about a candidate's qualifications; a candidate, I might add, who had promoted himself as being born in Kenya earlier in his life. Once Obama produced his long form birth certificate from Hawaii, I can understand how people would think continuing to believe Obama was born in Kenya has racist underpinnings (although I disagree), but, in any event, that was not the case in 2008 when Hillary was campaigning against him. So from my perspective, although I don't doubt that Hillary's campaign wanted to use the issue in 2008, I also don't really view that as a criticism. Of course she did; disqualifying your opponent is a viable way to win.

Link?

Both Trump and Hillary lie, but neither are particularly good at it. Bubba was once described as a really good liar, which was accurate. Trump's said a lot of stupid shit, but at least he was quick enough to pretend he had no idea what HRC was talking about when she dropped the Machado fat shaming bomb on him.

Frontline did a documentary on HRC and Trump. No net new info on Hillary, but a weird tangled web around Trump. Joe McCarthy's side kick Roy Cohn became Trump's mentor on scorched earth litigation and never backing down. Cohn was also pals with Roger Stone, a Nixon flunkie and long time Trump associate. Stone's not officially affiliated with the Trump campaign, but he's been a big time surrogate. Stone also hooked Trump up with Manafort. Before my time, but don't think America was great during McCarthyism and the Nixon years.
