Chicago Police have charged them with hate crimes. This was the right decision, IMO. They've also said there's no link to BLM despite some of the shit on social media suggesting otherwise.

Just an observation, but I couldn't help noticing that Bob was outraged that the police didn't call it a hate crime early on while they were still getting all the information, yet in some of the other cases we've discussed on this board he's taken the position that we need to let all of the evidence come out.

Nowhere did I say that what these 4 thugs did was equivalent to the horrible act that Dylann Roof did. Both parties are fucking terrible people who deserve nothing but the worst in life.

Don't disagree with that at all. Had PH said that, rather than accuse me of making false equivalencies, my reaction would have been different.
 
Hate crimes are an example of bad legislation, regardless of who is doing the hating or who is the victim. A crime is a crime, and there were a whole lot of them committed here. If the state of mind is to commit a crime that should be all that matters.

First of all, all I said is they can rot in hell next to Dylann Roof.

Only in your racist little bubble does it even make sense to compare the crimes. If you want to compare the crimes, then it isn't even close. Obviously a guy murdering 9 innocent folks in worship is going to edge out 4 people torturing a mentally handicapped guy. Thing is, this has nothing to do with what Roof did. I simply said they can all rot in hell together.

Did you make that post to make this crime seem of less importance and shift focus back on Roof? If so, why?
