Chat Thread lame titles. Owning it.

Started putting together this decent little salad from the salad bar here at school: mixed greens, spinach, broccoli florets, carrot shavings, mushrooms, bacon, hard boiled eggs, feta, red onion, oil and balsamic. I call it the Chupe's Salad, like a Chef's Salad but with Chupe instead. Costs me like under 4 bucks and is pretty filling.

I've also been drinking a lot of (non-smack) tea lately, mainly medicinals and herbals. Some Roasted Dandelion Root, and I got this Lavender Chamomile the other day that is fucking fantastic. I slept like a little baby last night and the Dandelion gets my juices going for digesting.

I'm listening to a lot of soul and R&B and plan on going to I Am Not Your Negro soon to counter this very white post.

Aside from the fact that I think you're mischaracterizing me and my neighbors, there's no way I'd be out there protesting when I can just pay someone to go protest for me.

If there were a site here that could handle 100 units the bidding would be insane for it and the city council wouldn't have any interest in putting affordable housing on it either as they'd be looking for a big tax payday. When they've tried to put developments like that out in the suburbs there has been a lot of pushback though.

It won't surprise anyone that the NC General Assembly is not big on the idea of forcing developers to include affordable housing units in new developments in mandatory inclusionary zoning.

I still think I have the right as an older male to pee wherever and whenever the urge hits me. I think the legal merits are as strong as any regarding the issues surrounding HB2.

Been thinking lately about how far I might be willing to go with a dude. Pretty sure I'm too socially conditioned to do anything, but it would be pretty sweet to expand the potential sexual cache.
