Nah, I don't believe that - I mean Donald said this morning that Russia TOOK Crimea. Would Putin just allow him to tweet that ? It makes you wonder . . .

You have the wrong verb. Putin wouldn't "allow" Trump to make that tweet. He'd "order" Trump to make that tweet to give Trump a little cover for a few hours and take some of the heat off temporarily.

I believe that's entirely possible. Whether the hacker was formally tied with the government, who knows. But Russia's hands are all over this I'd guess.

I believe it is possible and some of the evidence we've seen thus far supports the possibility. Seems worth investigating because it is a serious, serious issues, if true.

much better questions are if there is a non-zero chance it happened, should it be investigated? and if it happened, should trump be impeached?

You people are literal nutjobs. You think somewhere out there there's a recording of a phone call of a Russian confirming to an American he hacked the DNC's email and two people openly talking about how to release it to the media.

I presume there's basically digital record of pretty much any call coming in and out of this country at this point, no one's stupid enough to get caught

No, not everything is possible.

The evidence we've seen thus far supports the hypothesis, and suggests that further investigation is warranted. The alleged actions and the consequences are so serious that failing to investigate would be a travesty and completely undermine the integrity of our "democracy."

I don't have to guess one way or the other, I think we should investigate.
 
lol 17 different intelligence agencies have all independently come to similar suspicions about trump and russia

that's why there's an investigation.

the leak isn't the story. the investigation is the story. the leak was that there is an investigation.
