GAMEDAY!!!!

Of course i flaked and didn't turn on the game until we dropped the wide open TD in the 4th
Our D looked awful, but obviously we were pretty low on the depth chart and playing pass D, more or less letting them run.
Just how bad PC was or how decent we were seems to be the question. I like that we beat them pretty handily, which as mentioned by others, in the past hasn't always been the case

Makes you wonder why he wasn't more heavily recruited.

Greg Dortch was a hell of a player in high school. If my memory is accurate, he was then 5' 8" and 150 pounds. I think therein lies the answer to your question.

State POY in his division.

Well, that was fun.

Most everything was great, play of the team, stadium/parking staff, concessions, little to no rain (I couldn't get there until start of 2nd half).

Crowd was thinning out early I guess due to earlier rain and quick conclusion to the outcome of the game. Student section emptied out by early in 2nd half (not sure how many were there earlier).

Now let's go up to BC and get a win.

Left early, but biggest student crowd to start the game that I've seen in years.

I didn't see the TD return that was called back. Great blocking (other than the hold), speed, moves, or what?

so that's 3 TD KO returns called back for penalties in the last two years?

Besides a very good performance by our first and second team players, two things stood out tonight: the improved jerseys with no ugly W's on the sleeves, and the lack of football knowledge by our new color guy on the radio broadcast. We really need a football guy sitting beside Stan.

The WF design was still on the shoulder, just in black to blend in with the jersey. Mmm, gin.

Good blocking except for the hold (even though it was a really weak hold and didn't affect the play. Good call but was weak.). He caught the ball and hit the hole hard. I don't think he used a juke move once on that return.

He's going to be amazing for us. That punt return that he caught the ball in stride and took it upfield about 20(?) yards was awesome and he juked some poor Presby kid out of his shoes on another. He's a playmaker like I have seen at wake probably since the '06 team. Campanaro was really really good in the slot but I don't vividly remember him being this dynamic this early (someone can correct me if I'm wrong on that)
