BBall Recruiting Thread 2k18 - Hoard, Mucius, Lewis, and Wright sign NLIs!

Look at the kid's face while wearing the" I" shirt------frown on face because he wanted to go to WF and they pressured him to go against his will lol

let's be real, Ayo can't shoot or jump. he's tall for his position and fast. he has a long way to go to sniff the NBA, especially with his choice of college.

How does Sharone Wright fit into our future roster? Isn't he projected to be 6'8"+ when he gets to WF? Obviously a much more highly touted prospect, but I recall the same thing happened to Mike Dunleavy before he got to Duke. Could be wrong about that

When Illinois sends their people to the Wake board, they're not sending their best. They're bringing their problems with them. They're bringing drugs. They rape our language. They insult our culture. Although some, I assume, are good people.

one of his main assistants now is a glorified AAU coach that was hired just to get him. i'm sure he's gonna help with his skill development. and underwood is gonna be too distracted by constantly wondering in the back of his head if he burned all of his paper trails for the foreseeable future.

I think Sharone is going to be really good. If he can keep his handles and be 6’10 (what I read he was projected to be) that’s a huge asset. We could have the best defensive team in the NCAA in 2018-19 and ‘19-20. I feel him fitting in the SG/SF spot behind Chaundee/Hoard depending on who else is on the floor.

If nothing else, it’s going to be fun to kick the shit out of Illinois next month.

UI's small front court and lack of depth there is a huge problem for them. We should have our way in the paint and if they get into foul trouble, it could get really embarrassing.

Funny that they were saying guard was their strongest position before adding another one and they only graduate one guard.

I wouldn't count on Wright contributing freshman year but I definitely think he has the potential to be a very good swing player for us, able to play basically any spot for WF besides center. Think a more stable version of Cornelius Hudson in terms of role.

Somewhere between Jalen Rose and Magic Johnson, right?

This is two years in a row where I got caught up in all the hype about recruiting on the boards. I'm thrilled about all the hype, but honestly that's all it is. I'll be much happier when we get to use the eye test on our recruits in black and gold. We have a lot to be hopeful about. Can't wait to see Chaundee, Olivier, and the 2017-18 versions of Doral and Big Sam.

Good thing that the 'home town' fans can console themselves with Ayo's commitment after getting their shit pushed in by the Dodgers.

I'd like to see Danny and Chill work on Lecque, but let the kid have some wiggle room. If he can get the classes, tell him we'd like to make a decision in the Spring if Bryant is leaving. He'd have a starting slot on Top 15ish team.

By playing it close to the vest, Lecque would be in the driver's seat for 18 or 19. It's a win-win for him.

You heard it here first: ayo to decommit after wake slaughters illini in ACC/B1G challenge

Oh history? You mean like 12/01/2004 when the greatest team in the HISTORY of Wake Forest, which included the second greatest player in the HISTORY of Wake Forest, had their testicles sliced off and stuffed down their throats? That HISTORY?

Enjoy your HISTORY lesson!

Go away corn shucker. You got your boy, so go back to your boards. The Deacs have moved on to better things. It’s really no big deal.
