First Charges Filed in Mueller Investigation

Yeah, a friend of mine has had to work with Sessions a number of times in both closed and open sessions. He is definitely not dumb. He is arrogant as hell though, and his public persona is in large part an act.

I think Sessions thinks that he is bending the rules for the good of the country; that he is saving us all from Liberal damnation and multiculturalism, and that justifies a few lies here and there and getting money from the Russians. I mean really, what difference does it make if we take a few illegal things of value from the Russians, if, in the end, it helps us get the right judges on the SCOTUS so we can save millions of fetuses...That's my theory on Sessions.

That's a good theory about the GOP in general.

I think he's just an evil old racist.

I can confirm this is the belief held by many Trump supporters. Have had several conversations with people I am very close to who hold this opinion. One caveat: I would substitute Hillary for multiculturalism.

Mueller Reveals Manafort Link to Organized Crime

BETSY WOODRUFF

Buried deep in Robert Mueller’s indictment of Paul Manafort is a new link between Donald Trump’s former campaign and Russian organized crime.

The indictment (PDF), unsealed on Monday, includes an extensive look into Paul Manafort’s byzantine financial dealings. In particular, it details how he used a company called Lucicle Consultants Limited to wire millions of dollars into the United States.

The Cyprus-based Lucicle Consultants Limited, in turn, reportedly received millions of dollars from a businessman and Ukrainian parliamentarian named Ivan Fursin, who is closely linked to one of Russia’s most notorious criminals: Semion Mogilevich.

Mogilevich is frequently described as “the most dangerous mobster in the world.” Currently believed to be safe in Moscow, he is, according to the FBI, responsible for weapons trafficking, contract killings, and international prostitution. In 2009, he made the bureau’s Ten Most Wanted Fugitives list.

Because he's not going to believe it anyway.

We are in a post-fact era. As long as tintin believes Trump and his cronies have done nothing wrong, facts aren't important. And tintin believes so many lies about Hillary that there's justification for whatever Trump did.

lol, "so you're saying I should look into old real estate deals?"
I didn't know I could sue prosecutors for not focusing.

You think the things about Clinton are lies, but then accuse me of having blinders on. That's incredible.

What a tremendous waste of time this has been

Yea no shit. Would have been nice if 46% of the country hadn't ignored Trump's corrupt past (morally and financially) and weird infatuation with Russia. We could have avoided all of this.

The worst part is that at some point rubes will wake up and realize Trump has always been in it for himself and could give zero fucks about his base. Might not happen tomorrow or 4 years from now but it will happen.

Trump voters should be outraged more than anyone. You voted for someone who promised to drain the swamp and make America great again. Trump and his cronies epitomize the swamp and we're almost a year into this administration with no major policy achievements aside from a few executive orders banning people from entering the country. Congrats.

Oh and a Supreme Court pick for which you can thank your favorite establishment boogeyman, Mitch McConnell.
