I believe the investigations and the facts. You're so deranged that you support investigation after investigation hoping to support the lies.

It's really pathetic because the purpose of all those investigations was to make sure Hillary didn't become President. It worked. You should be happy. Instead, you supported someone far more corrupt so you have to trot out old lies about Hillary to support him.

The stuff about trump may or may not be lies, but because of their partisan blinders, the lefties on here (with a few exceptions like MDMH) are completely lacking any self awareness. All of the Hillary stuff is a nothing burger, but ALL of the Trump stuff is evil/felony/impeachable offense that the stupid rubes just can not see.

Edited to say that this place has become nothing more than a UNC sports board with the left being UNC fans and the right NCSU, et al.

It's amazing that Republicans still believe this after Republican led investigations of Hillary have turned up nothing of note.

Listen blowhard, nobody here thinks Clinton is clean. Do I think she runs a mafia that has killed 48 people, no. How many investigations into the emails do you need? We know of at least 2. Clinton foundation, a few of them as well. Benghazi? There have been 7 of those. Etc, etc.

She is not clean, but for God’s sakes Trump (he has actually been found guilty of a number of things - money laundering casinos, foundation fraud, civil rights, 3500 times sued for fraud, Trump university...just off the top of my head) is so much worse. Those cannot be disputed...Facts (non-fake news, so you can understand).

Nobody likes Clinton, but you saying “don’t believe things about Clinton” is rube talk.

It's not just lefties dude. There are at least a handful of republicans and independents on this board without partisan blinders who are just as outraged. And there are a hell of a lot more in the real world.

CNN & MSNBC reporting there are likely more meetings between Sessions and Russians that he hasn't fessed up to yet. This would give Trump an excuse to fire Beauregard and replace him with someone who will fire Mueller.

Then, the real shit starts hitting the fan.

So if Trump fires Sessions, does Rosenstein take over as acting AG? I think so right?

I still feel confident that the Senate won't confirm any new nominee for AG. They more or less said so when Trump tried throwing Jeff under the bus a couple of months ago.

Regardless, it's something everyone should keep an eye on and call their members about if it looks like Trump is setting the stage to fire Mueller.
 
Do recess appointments apply to cabinet positions or just judges?
 
The Senate doesn't go on recess anymore to prevent recess appointments. (They have super brief meetings every few days so they are not officially on recess.)

That's probably because there are very few cogent arguments coming from those attempting to defend Trump on this board or in the media. The main defense of Trump has typically been some combination of 1) Hillary whataboutism 2) Anti anti-Trumpism and 3) ignore the issue.

Tintins comment above about the Russian investigation being a waste of time is a perfect example.

Would love to see someone put forth some good arguments about why there shouldn't be an investigation into Russian interference and the Trump campaign's alleged collusion with Russia (remember these are two separate issues and the special counsel is investigating both).

I don't know that Trump is defensible, however the same goes with Hillary. Those on the left provide no cogent arguments as to why Uranium One/DNC takeover should not be looked into other than to say it is just trump trying to muddy the waters when it was the Hill that uncovered a lot of this stuff.

Modest proposal: Put them both in jail and lets be done with them and start fresh.
 
There have been plenty of cogent arguments about Uranium One. I don't think there's anything about the DNC takeover that's illegal.

Trump isn't defensible. That's why you all defend him by attacking Hillary.

There's any number of incredibly detailed reports and commentary on the Uranium One deal out there. You just have ignored them.
