*2017 Pit Fantasy Football League One* Season VIII

5 of the 10 games were decided by five points or less.

wake20 and Wolf can count their lucky stars after winning low-scoring squeakers. sloth = never lucky.

Wow, squeaked out the unlikely victory. I think Yahoo said I had like 15% chance when I was up only 3 points over redwing who had Green Bay Defense left. They scored 2 points.

Any of four different decisions on my part would have won me the game this week. Ugh.

Week 9 Power Rankings

If the playoffs started today, these would be the matchups (with power rankings):

1) wake20
9) Wolf1297

3) HailToTheDeacons
4) Eagles_Legendz

2) bernbp5
6) redwing42

7) RollTheQuad06
13) Screamindemon3

And those slated for relegation:
17) BarcaDeac (3-6)
18) Baller Deac (2-7)
19) JamesSokolove (2-7)
20) slothrop (0-9)

Doofus hops out of the relegation zone on the back of a three game winning streak. There are currently five teams at 3-6, so the fight to stay up will be an interesting one to watch.

HTTD, are you able to explain why Charlestown Chiefs would make the playoffs over me?

Same record at 5-4.
He is 4-1 in the division, I am 3-2.
I have more points.
I have the H2H win.

Makes me think the tiebreaker is division record? Has it always been this way?

I need a starting tight end for the rest of the season. Somebody send me trade deals. I'm open to pretty much anything.

Yes, it's always been this way.

Tiebreaking rules

Note: All four division winners will advance to the playoffs & the final four playoff spots will be filled with Wild Card teams. However, all 8 playoff teams will be seeded by overall standings.

Division Leader Tiebreakers
If two or more teams tie for the lead in a division, the following tiebreakers will be used to determine the division winner.
-Division winning percentage.
-Total fantasy points (season total).
-Fantasy points scored in last week's matchup.
-Fantasy points scored in the matchup two weeks prior.
-The comparison continues until the tie is broken or no more weeks remain to compare. At that time, a coin flip will settle the tie.

Wild Card Tiebreakers
If two or more teams tie for a wild-card (non-division leading) position, the following tiebreakers will be used to determine the standings
-Total fantasy points (season total).
-Fantasy points scored in last week's matchup.
-Fantasy points scored in the matchup two weeks prior.
-The comparison continues until the tie is broken or no more weeks remain to compare. At that time, a coin flip will settle the tie.

Ahh, makes sense. Different rules for division winner vs wild card.

Doesn't matter, I'm still confident.

Here I am in 10th but with a ETEW record of 69-102.

If anyone wants a late-season lottery ticket, I'm absolutely your guy.

Mmmm I'm not sure he's tons better than what I've got now in Derby quite frankly. I'll think about it though.

Thanks!

Not my year! 5th in the Power Polls - 15th in the standings. Every week someone seems to Tee off on my team and has a career week vs. my guys.
