Omnibus Bowl Projections Thread - Belk Bowl

Going to Shreveport to play some nobody directional school would be a fitting reward for getting “outplayed and out coached” by goddamned Duke.

This won't happen, State can't lose out to FSU on Tier I since State has 8 wins and FSU will have max 6.

Seems like SEC getting two CFP spots is the smoothest route to the Big Ten winding up in the OB
 
Selfishly would want to luck into camping or st pete. But belk would be good.
 
The level of opponent could be all over the place if we fall out of Tier I. Palm has Virginia playing a 6-6 MAC team (Western Michigan) in Detroit, and has Duke playing a 10-2 Memphis squad in Birmingham that would've come quite close to making a NY6 bowl
 
Guess it's still possible ND makes the NY6. Could come down to a 10-3 TCU squad or them. Fingers crossed

Memphis just hung 70 on somebody (ECU?). They’re a nightmare for whatever mediocre P5 team they play.

Not an excuse but a pretty human response that tends to get a lot of teams at some point. Wake being the favorite playing at home was a different experience. Most likely they will learn from it for next year.

ECU is the only other team I pull for and I couldn’t agree more with you. Crazy that 7 and 8 win seasons with conference titles every 2-3 years wasn’t good enough for them
