Wonder why App moved up to FBS.

They have won the Sun Belt a few times, and the result is going to a mid/low tier bowl against a MAC school. Would think that playing for a Natty Championship at the FCS level on a regular basis would be more satisfying than playing in the Dollar General Bowl. JMU (the #1 FCS program - they blew out ECU this year) and App State are comparable schools. I think JMU gets more run for being the dominant FCS program than App State gets for being a good non-Power V program, but maybe not.

Bama hasn't done shit all year and it will show in the playoff. All three are bad match-ups for them, but Clemson is probably the worst.

All the above aside, Bama was helped tremendously by not playing in the SEC championship and having an extra week to recover from injuries. Last night was the best game they played all year.
