Official 2018 NBA Offseason Thread: the preseason cometh

Fair enough take on bz. My disdain for him stems from the way he treated wake fans and the college kids he was supposed to teach. Blamed everyone else for his failings.
 
He continues to fail up. No wonder he blames everyone else.

I was really happy for CP when he left. I’m a townie, though, and have known the Paul family and extended family long before dude committed to Wake.

It’s sheer [Redacted] hatred.

Fuck that guy. And I hope CP gets a ring.
 
my first foray into trolling was when these boards were down and I trolled the other boards that Bz was being fired based on my Board of Trustees inside info (people on these boards would or should have recognized I started a thread "Who are the BOT" a week earlier). People on these boards didn't pick up on that, got mad at me, and a troll was born.

But on the flip side, my only legit #scoop was when I ran into the Paul family out in LA and asked for bzzzzzout info after year 2 and I got the win total number for year 3. Buzz hit it on the number. They weren't fans.

There were def some awesome takes by jmanslow I think after CP’s first game with the ROX.

Houston (the poster) is pretty underrated and needs to make an appearance soon.

I mean, if I'm going to serious engage with your posts, you're basically calling me and others doinks for not jumping on the Rockets bandwagon. Do you consider yourself to be a fan of the Rockets, Heat, Pistons, Hawks, Wolves, and Blazers? Each one of those guys is a modern Wake legend. That doesn't really sound like fandom to me, but you do you.

If CP wins a chip, then I'll be as happy as the next person. Maybe not as much as TexasDeac, but CP is Winston's finest and one of my favorite athletes ever. I didn't cheer for the Spurs, either, but love Tim Duncan, Pop, and Buford. Does that make me *shudder* a doink?

I'm just not going to cheer for a [name redacted]-coached team, though. I'm not going to cheer against them, either. And if that makes you a better fan than me, then who gives a shit... It's just sports, man.
 
I think Melo is my second least favorite superstar, after Dwight, of the last ten or fifteen years.
