Video Game Thread - $70 Zelda Expansion!

It's not like I said Heroes of the Storm lol.

Not having to last hit is SOOOOO easy to get used to though. Once you stop, you'll never want to go back. HOTS is just so much less stressful than DotA or LoLs. Also, the games are much shorter. It's just an easier/less stressful game all around, which is more appealing to me now that I don't have countless hours to invest.

l obviously wouldn't say HotS is a better game than either, but at this stage in my life, it's more enjoyable.

This is how I feel about Hearthstone.

I can have fun and be good at the game with the variable, but often limited, attention I can give it.

FNAF 6
was released this week,
hidden inside a Fazzbear Pizza Simulator.

Candy, candy, candy.

Uhhhhh, spoiler much?

It's not much of a spoiler. It literally starts the first night.

Also, the boss of every Mega Man game is Dr. Wily. I don't care who he says he is, it's always Dr. Wily.

Mega Man 11 comes out next year. That's pretty cool.

So I'm sure there is a huge Virtual Novel fanbase on here that is well aware of this already, but I recently played and finished Doki Doki Literature Club. I'm not much of one for VN games, though I have played games, like 999, which have VN aspects to them. I only played this one because it was free on Steam, and I've seen a lot of "just play it!" reviews. Apparently, it just won the fan vote for best PC game from IGN as well. It takes about an hour or so to get going, but it really goes places after that. Certainly not a game for everyone, and the warning labels are legit, but it was an interesting experience.

What the fuck did I just google

I've heard a bit about it. I've only played one of those before (Hatoful Boyfriend, which is batshit crazy and wonderful), but if this is as good as everyone's said, I'll have to check it out

Is the gameplay strict dating simulator or are there actual controllable aspects to it?

I don't understand anything about what you said or the description given on Steam. So I very eagerly downloaded it to check it out.

If you're asking about Hatoful Boyfriend, there are dialogue choices in order to seduce the various characters. I think there are something like a dozen different endings in that game.

If referring to Doki Doki Literature Club (DDLC), there are choices to be made, though the story itself is primarily linear. Mostly. For example, you will be writing poems by picking from a list of key words, and different girls will like some choices better than others. That will influence some dialogue paths down the line.

But please take the warnings seriously.
