Undergrads pretty much all suck these days. A bunch of zombies at best; Wake Forest Review material at worst. It is pretty soul crushing to walk around campuses -- I used to like it, think it was where I wanted to be more or less, or at least better than other places -- now I'm not so sure.

I'm also getting old and irritable. Not a great mix. We'll all get wiped out by some apocalyptic catastrophe -- either natural, extraterrestrial, or man made -- in the next 50 years, so I guess it doesn't matter. Happy Thursday!

My favorite part about eating at Panera Bread is at the end of my meal I wait in line behind some dope who is carefully unloading the trash and uneaten food from their bowl, platter, and plate and placing their silverware into the proper place. They're usually so fucking slow that a line starts to form behind me. So once they finish I just toss my dishes in the bus pan and walk away because there's no way I'm going through any more effort to clean up their restaurant than I would at Bojangles' or anyplace else. I used to get better service in elementary school when I just passed my tray through the window in the cafeteria after lunch. Some people have the gall to look at me like I'm antisocial or an oaf because I don't feel like doing the work that Panera pays people minimum wage to do after I paid $12.50 for a salad and a drink. Like if we all just pitch in we can make the world a better place by stealing these people's jobs. They're lucky I don't throw the whole thing in the trash.
 
People who think I'm antisocial just ate their lunch out of a breadbowl. How fucking stupid of an invention is that ? Was Panera having problems with people eating their plastic bowls so they started serving tomato soup in a carved out loaf of bread ?
