BBall Recruiting Thread 2k19 - Charles Coleman de-commits to Wake. :(

You realize it's almost a certainty that we do add a shitty grad transfer and/or recruits ranked outside the top 150 (that you so often profess is key), right?

Or course. It will be a mistake, IMO. I’m ok with taking a flyer on a 2018 big or bringing in Taylor if he wants to come fill Woods’ role, but not the other options.

Unless Taylor is willing to come and EJ Montgomery completely changes course filling all three schollies next year would be dumb.

Manning is worrying about his job, which leads to large classes (same thing happened with [Redacted] and every other coach whose seat is warm). My hope is that Danny stays the course and doesn't sign 2 more freshman. 5th years are fine, and even an additional freshman to make it a 5 man class is ok (especially with the Jamie Lewis uncertainty), but we don't need a 6 or 7 man class in my opinion. They can't all play, and inevitably they will just keep future recruits from signing either by the fact that they are taking a scholly (obvious), or that they play a similar position and it dissuades a recruit from feeling 100% sure about his opportunity to succeed.

He just committed to WF.

Now all we have to do is get him to average more than 5 points and 3 rebounds at some point during his career and Canadiandeac will leave the boards...I love it when a plan comes together.

I am pretty sure Lorng will commit this week

His twitter profile pic is pretty awesome.

Unless a miracle hits and Montgomery shows up, there really are no 18's to sign. Maybe make a late run at Ramey, but other than that, there are no Top 100 players left. There's no sense signing a scrub.

The French guy could help develop a true pipeline.

Wake's the Paris of the South!
