Wake Baseball 2018

we won a game tonight...lol..I know who cares anymore. I guess I always will.
 
Since Roberts has been pretty unsuccessful in his last several starts, I'm wondering if his draft chances have taken a hit. If all 3 weekend pitchers were to come back, we might be more solid next year.
 
Avent is a damn clown. He gets tosssd in the 2nd lol.

Deacs up 3-0. Just got thrown out at home. Ugh
 
Tied 5-5 in the 7th. But we can’t throw strikes. 8 walks today. Gotta find some guys that can throw strikes.
 
State scores 2 runs in the 7th. The silver lining is that wake didn’t give up a hit!
 
Hope the team can regroup for the last series of the year - We have/are crashing in this one. Depressing.

Rebuilding year. Not that depressing given the success of last year & the fact we lost at least 8 players to graduation and/or the draft.
 
Yes, I'm sure you are correct and I look forward to next year too.
However, it is currently depressing to see 2 runs given up on 5 walks, no hits, and similar situations that occur often in other games - HBP, so many walks, especially 1st man up in an inning. Not basic baseball at a college level. ...... But, sometime, we have looked good.
 
Total implosion. 7-0 lead blown. Supple all kinds of control issues again, reverting to last year’s form.
 
8 straight balls to allow the tying and go ahead runs to score. 3 runs on 2 singles. Tough to watch.
