I disagree with you
"look, this Democrat voted for something not-Progressive (as defined by the blogs i read)! typical DINO".
Just a reminder that mainstream dems (and even some "progressives") have recently:
-Voted to confirm Pompeo and Haspell
-Voted to continue US support of the war in Yemen (today we bombed a doctors without borders facility)
-Voted to deregulate banks
-Voted for a Blue Lives Matter bill
-Voted to make work more dangerous for sex workers (almost all the dems)

The "All Lives Matter" of political criticism. From that standpoint, I have to assume you go around spanking other parents kids.Want a reminder of what Republicans have done?
the only true Dem is one who votes against Republicans 100% of the time, and other Democrats some of the time
Want a reminder of what Republicans have done?
If they don't follow MHB's dogmatic litmus tests, then elect Republicans. That will show them!!!
I mean, do y'all support these votes? While I don't know enough about the issues to weigh in on the sex workers bill, banking deregulation, Pompeo/Haspell, Blue Lives Matter, war, etc. have been pretty controversial votes according to mainstream left press.
No, I don't, but those are outliers.
Would I accept Manchin voting for one or two things I oppose if it means he'll be there for six more years supporting 90% of what I support versus having someone in his seat who supports 5% of what I believe in? The choice is simple.
The same is true with Heidkamp and Tester.
It's hard to take seriously an article that:

You really need to take this bullshit "purity politics" show on the road. Why don't you visit all the gofundme web sites for cancer patients and gun shot victims, begging for help, and let them know that their complaints about the health insurance industry are why Trump won. Please. Go run that dumb shit up the flag pole with people who need help.Manchin is the only Dem who can win statewide in WV. You can dream all you want, but it won't happen.
Trump had a 61% approval rating in early Feb in WV. A progressive has no prayer running against Trump in WV.
"Never let the perfect be the enemy of good" - Ted Kennedy
Demanding purity makes you no different than radical RWers.
You believing that Manchin and Heitkamp literally represent your progressive viewpoints 95% of the time just tells me you are very uninformed or very conservative. Joe Manchin regularly threatens to join the Republican party. To be absolutely clear, the divide between leftists and mainstream moderates is over much much more than 5%.
I know you like to speak in abstracts to avoid the reality of politics, but who in the fuck is 5% away from Medicare, or 5% away from a living wage? 5% from the abolishment of cash bail? None of these fucking trash corporate Democrats are "5%" away from being good progressives.
