Saudi World Golf Tour 2022/2023 Thread

62 was about the worst Tiger could've shot too. Best round he's played in a long time. Shares the course record with Nick Watney, probably for about an hour total.

Dayum. I don't remember Aronomink being that easy - haven't been able to watch anything today, but there are a lot of low scores. Also see Stenson's name on the leaderboard, so he must be healthy again. It's been a few years, but I recall liking the layout at Aronomink the couple of years the PGA was playing there. And while I'm not a big Tiger fan, it would be great to see him in the winner's circle again.

Seems like the course has relatively wide fairways and the par 4's aren't as long as some other courses on the tour. Field doesn't have a lot of issues hitting greens in regulation.

Don Ross course that was restored a few years ago with about 100 bunkers being put back.

Leader -13 after 2 at BMW on whatever course they are playing. Worst round of the day +2. Only 6 guys in the field of 69 over par. The TOUR wants fans to think the Fed Ex Cup playoffs are a big deal, but they play these playoff events on courses the guys torch. You want me to watch the playoffs? Play the events on more interesting and challenging courses.

I guess it's not the end of the world this week if they have to play on Monday, since they're off next week. Don't see how they'll play much tomorrow.

Well I hope DJ didn't sleep with Erin Walker again. FWIW, I've always liked Jimmy Walker and watched his interview on Feherty. Seems like a cool guy.

DJ is going to go HAM next year once he drops that social media whore.

Surprised no posts about the PGA changes for next year.

FedEx money is going from $35MM to $70MM. Tour Championship is completely changing where the FedEx Cup winner will be the Tour Championship winner. Also, there will be payouts at the end of the regular season for the top 10 guys (1st $2MM to 10th $500k). This SHOULD make the Wyndham a better event moving forward as guys around the top 10 may want to get one more event in and try to make the top 10.

Leader of the FedEx Cup starts the Tour Championship at -10 (I'm not crazy about this one).
