Secret Service intercepts ‘potential explosive devices’ sent to Obama, Clinton

Wasn't trying to downplay the situation, it could have been much worse and for that we should be grateful, and for the implications of the event we should be both worried and sad.

My post was really just calling the dude out at being bad at all aspects of everything apparently.

Got it, thanks for clarifying

You can't possibly be this dense. Show me ONE time Bernie called for violence. Show us ONE! Or quit your BS.

Trump has repeatedly called for violence (he even offered to pay legal fees for acts of violence). At dozens of events, he's called the press "enemy of the people" that kind of rhetoric does incite violence. He routinely says the FBI can't be trusted.

You are beyond hope if you try to compare Bernie to Trump on this issue.

Just admit how wrong you are.

Bernie was a supporter of Fidel Castro, a genocidal thug. What does that tell his mindless followers? Well, it tells them that violent leftist tactics are acceptable and effective and that is why you find Antifa threatening people in the streets of every major city now.

Just for the fear threat, am in NYC for weekend and went to Springsteen on Broadway last night. Who walked into the show but Bill and Hillary Clinton to see the show. They certainly did not seem concerned or scared and seemed to really appreciate the 5 minute standing ovation from the audience. So I think we need not be concerned with intimidation.

Goes to show you what piece of shit conservatives are, guy tries to blow up political opponents and just a bunch of trolling, whatabout, and meh. If anything trump at least has put a huge spot light on what once was in the darkness but always the foundation of the modern Conservative party.

First word of my post was "no". No was in response to has Bernie called for violence.

You also said this:

"To a further note Bernie might not openly be calling for violence, but his rhetoric of creating a culture of victimization among his followers in conjunction with painting all their problems on political foes certainly can, has, and will continue to create violence. He has the same playbook as Trump."

It's total, abject BULLSHIT and a weak attempt at whataboutothers.

There's no reason for it. This is weak and dishonest.

Weird that the crazy liberal guy went with a gun to shoot at a crowd of congressmen. While the lunatic conservative guy goes with the bomb.

Seems backwards.

It is not bullshit, and it has caused violence. That is a fact.

How does it compare to an unhinged Bernie fan shooting up a congressional baseball practice?

That guy is a lone wolf. He alone called for violence and he alone acted on it.

Republicans are calling for violence from the top down. It’s not just this guy with bombs. It’s neo-Nazis answering the call. It’s the white nationalists. It’s various government agencies kidnapping children and defending it. It’s a culture of violence in your party. Instead of saying “what about” ask yourself what you can do about it.

Link showing quotes of elected republicans calling for violence?

Damn, this guy lived in a neighborhood where I used to hang out in HS at basically the same time and one of my friends met him and hung out at his house

Antifa is literally only a thing to MAGA donks on Fox News, talk radio, and Facebook. No one ever talks about it in real life.

So much this. The anti-fascists are only threats to fascists. If you’re not a fascist, you have nothing to worry about.

No, but the members of the left have, and they have repeatedly failed to condemn leftist violence. Again the sentiment is antifa is good.

This is utter bullshit.

Violence can have many causes and reasons, and no group is immune to unstable individuals, even those truly peak individuals we call "centrists."

Where there's the largest problem is where violence is promoted and condoned by conspiracy theorists and/or attention whores, be they the leader of the free world or some dipshit on Twitter. Or both

Yes. But one party’s leader who happens to be the president is openly calling for violence. “My kinda guy...”
