Hmm, if we're saying they're of no benefit/you can't use them for either case that might change things.
 
I know a kid who lost an arm in a pretty awful wakeboarding accident. Not a kid anymore, but still unbelievable at wakeboarding and a pretty good golfer. It's gotta be way easier to have a "normal" life with one arm than no legs. #anecdotes.
 
guy who went to my church growing up was on the track team at State and lost part/much of both legs trying to run and jump on a train by campus

dude ended up running in the Paralympics

You're older than I thought (unless he was older than you). Dude was only at school for like two weeks and never even got to run in a meet for state. Great program. Sounds like the dude was and is pretty talented.
 
he's older than me -- he went to our church as a college student, post-accident; my parents were Sunday school teachers for the college program

Anyone on the CT bowl with any regularity? I probably go once every two to three months and it's always a blast.

Yeah, no kidding. I went to Corvus on S. Broadway.

I'm not a fan of french press; normally do pour over at home. I just don't spend the money an expensive coffee anymore since I don't make time to enjoy it - that's the big thing. My prep is fine, it's just the beans themselves don't hold a candle to something like what I got at Corvus.

Nah, I was at Paradise watching living legend Richard Thompson shred the house. Guessing I was definitely in the youngest 1-5% there, but holy shit he was good. Top 10 show all time for me. And I get to see him again in two weeks!
