Indeed. I much prefer the storyline of the minority high-school girl who made a cool video of her dancing, and then grew up to become the youngest female member of Congress in history, to the storyline of the spoiled and drunken prep school boy who's had multiple accusations of sexually assaulting girls, yet grew up to become a lock-step right-wing judge and Supreme Court justice, and who gave an incredibly partisan and angry rant at his congressional hearings.

I'm so glad I watched that because I thought Pence said that. I'm relieved it was just Sinema making a joke. I wonder if that's the first time Pence has touched a member of the LGBT community.

I've said it before but I'll say it again. I'm really excited to see so many smart, fun, attractive "have a beer with" women in that 35-50 year old demographic in Congress. This is such a great moment.

The image of the two parties at the House opening session today was as stark as anything I've seen in politics. The GOP was almost entirely made up of older white dudes in dark suits, the Dems were visibly more diverse in gender, race, age, and just about everything. The look on the faces of those GOP members is of men who are looking at America's future, and it's no longer dominated by guys like them. No wonder Trumpites are so bitter and angry all the time.
 
And somehow the group made up of one identity is convinced the group made up of all identities is playing identity politics.

Can anybody board Pubs explain why they think less of AOC because she made a video dancing with her friends in college? Why do you hate her more because the video was edited and set to different music and the tweet claimed she was in high school?

That's the weirdest part for me. Why that musical piece in particular?
 
I just love how shook she has the Republican party. They have no idea what to do with her. When Pubs go to bed, they check underneath it first for AOC.
