2018-19 College Basketball Season-Long Thread

Good lord, Louisville just absolutely shit the bed. That was brutal.
 
UL played really stupid bb in the last 12 minutes or so. It looked like they were trying to pile up points to embarrass Duke instead of simply winning the game.
 
So does anybody know why Papa John was at UK wearing UK gear instead of back home in Louisville watching his team play Duke?

Papa John ditched UL when they dropped him from the BOT and dropped his sponsorship from their football stadium after the racial slur scandal.
 
So he went to UK where racial slurs are welcome?

Should have been goal tending on UK on the initial shot. Worked out in the end.

They said on ESPN last night that the ball was not in the cylinder when Montgomery's hand was on the rim so it wasn't defensive goal tending. But Montgomery going for the block is what left the LSU player open for the tip in. LSU was the better team last night, especially in the second half.

Nobody for UL wanted the basketball in the final part of the second half. It seemed as though they were all running from the ball. Folded like a cheap tent while Duke just got confident and played great defense and started playing aggressive on offense.
 
The game got a 1.42 rating. The same time slot last year got a 0.41. Thus the Duke hype
 
I’m guessing a lot of those viewers were Duke haters who wanted to see them get blown out.

Doesn’t matter. ESPN talking about them all the time makes Duke haters hate even more and therefore even more likely to tune in hoping to see an upset... and ESPN gets good ratings for the game.
