First Charges Filed in Mueller Investigation

Too many posts here on side issues. There is one issue that everyone need to be focusing on.

Mueller's report specifically included an executive summary and introduction for both issues of the report that were designed to be publicly released. Mueller also redacted the report that was sent to Barr so that it could be publicly released. Mueller personally informed Barr of this on March 5. Despite this, Barr took it upon himself to issue his summary letter on March 24 and to withhold the report for further redactions. Mueller personally informed Barr that he disagreed with this on March 24.

So you have the AG actively working against the conclusions and dissemination of the special counsel report. Beyond that, the Senate and/or House used attorneys to question witnesses in the Watergate Hearings. The House is trying to do that now and Barr is refusing.

This is worse than Watergate.

Bravo to Congressman Steve Cohen of TN. He has a placard of a chicken and a bucket of chicken next to his nameplate to represent the chickenshit AG.

Yep. Republicans have spent the last 40 years figuring out how to get away with the next Watergate and they're succeeding.

Pelosi just bitch-slapped Barr. She said that he lied to Congress and this is a crime. She's also saying "impeachment is the easy way out". This is getting to be fun.

She's also saying they are about to pass a climate bill and several others that she said will not get voted on in the Senate and called McConnell "The Grim Reaper". Go get him Madame Speaker!!

Dems need to stick to a couple issues and just hammer away at them. Like the stupid Clinton-AG Tarmac meeting. Just repeat them over and over. The public can't handle complexity and a multitude of issues.

Saw some of the Sen. Harris questioning of AG Barr.
Did not appear that Harris have ever appeared before a Judge. Complex statements followed by "True or false".
I laughed .

This is why the House wants attorneys to do the questioning. (Although I guess Harris is an attorney). And Barr doesn't want any part of that.

You mean like the Republicans used for the Cavanaugh hearing?

My bad, it's only bad if the Dems do it. Republicans aren't held to the same rules.

Yet, the lemmings on the right are so brainwashed, they go along.

She was AG of the biggest state in the country, so I'd guess she is as well.

E: removed old multi-quote

WH Counsel just sent a letter to Barr saying the refuse to allow any WH staff or advisers to talk to Congress any longer.

This is a declaration of war on the House and the Constitution.

Good read. I think he knows the answer to the questions at the end but he’s not going to go all in saying Barr is yet another Fox News OWG part of this collective delusion.
