2020 Democratic Presidential Nominees

Its a tax cut in name only. Tax cut implies that govt takes less and spends proportionately less (ie smaller government). We are spending more while taking in less.

This is entitlement spending. We are borrowing money to give benefits to taxpayers, same as any other underfunded government program. So instead of an entitlement that would help a wide swath of Americans such as healthcare, Republicans chose to create an entitlement to benefit its wealthiest citizens.

Try flipping Trump/GOP’s favorite accomplishment and call it what it really is. Republicans are in favor of massive entitlement programs, you’re just not getting any benefits.
