It’s interesting to me that only 43 percent of people believe that the democrats’ ideas are heading the right direction yet nearly all of the popular ideas set out in the next section are those advocated by democrats. Further evidence that there is a visceral opposition based on party grouping rather than actually looking at what democrats stand for.

I'm not attracted to 17 year olds now, but when I was 20 I was and had sex with one, and don't think that was a crime. Looks like age of consent in those states is 16, so I'm in the clear.

But yeah, this dude prolly guilty. I ain't out there writing opeds about it when I'm 50.
 
We also dated when I was 17 and she was 14, but didn't have sex then. Wouldn't have thought it a crime if we did, though.
