Bullshit Trump Says

Brad has a raw spot on his dick due to Ralph Northam Which is hysterical, given that Northam doesn't prove what Brad thinks he does.

Climate control? Thats too hard, so might as well do nothing.

You're never going to be able to keep maniacs from getting guns, so might as well do nothing.

Immigration reform? That sounds hard. Cant we just build a wall?

What do you mean you're a woman who likes women? Can't you just like men like a "normal" person?

This message brought to you by real America.

I think it’s a positive that Trump stated he hopes Kaepernick gets back on the field. That’s the type of non divisive language that should be recognized, IMO. I still hate the guy but at least he is back-peddling on his Kaepernick stance.

It's easier to use Kaepernick as a wedge to drive hate if he is on the field versus trying to get folks to fear the memory of a bogeyman from a few years ago.

I think the "if he's good enough" part was meant to emphasize that he thinks Kaepernick is out of the league because he sucks, not because he has been blackballed. To Trump's base, the only person run out of the NFL for his beliefs is Tebow.

You're kidding, right?

He's not back-peddling anything. Trump helped kill Kaep's future and kept him out of work for multiple years. The combination of age, not playing and being made into a villain makes it basically impossible for Kaep to get a job.

Trump might as well have said RJ should be considered for the Olympic sprint relay.

"So if he's good enough, I know these people -- they would sign him in a heartbeat. They will do anything they can to win games.

"Frankly, I'd love to see Kaepernick come in, if he's good enough. But I don't want to see him come in because somebody thinks it's a good PR move. If he's good enough, he will be in."

This is what the media are spinning as a pivot? God damn they suck. My interpretation was even more obvious upon reading the full quote.

Yeah. He says “if he’s good enough” three times. Clearly saying the blackballing is merit based as if a former Super Bowl QB is worse than the randos playing in the preseason.

Media have balance drilled into their heads so anytime Trump does something remotely close to being a decent human being they have to hype the hell out of it.

When Avalon is openly laughing at you, you should really know you've said something dumb.

creamy says he has turned on republicans, yet is just looking for any excuse to defend trump

Dude, Creamy, no. Don’t make me regret giving you props last week.

Trump gets no credit for walking back a crisis he created for Kaep. That’s his playbook. He already ruined his nfl chances man.

Yep. Trump basically created this situation by blowing up the kneeling issue on his twitter feed, so it's hard to give him much credit for this rather innocuous statement. As others have mentioned, he may actually wish the controversy was still in the news because he thought it was helping him stir up the base, so he probably wishes that Kaepernick were still playing so he could continue to exploit the situation. It's what he does.
