I just got out of a computer training. Our office is undergoing a huge IT migration and we are moving to Windows 10. Some of those guys made me realize why the cable company asks if your TV is plugged in when you call for technical help.

Looks like we have a Guy Clark/Townes set and a Townes solo set from the early 90s. Non-circulating, though, sorry Biff. I think we may digitize them after making sure the tape is sound.

I've got nothing against the olds, I'm no ageist. This was just kind of funny because she said she was so excited to be learning this stuff, but then immediately forgot the two things I told her she HAD to do. The kids these days would consider me old, I'm sure.

Cactus Cafe is a thirty second walk from my office. Have never gone to a show, but there's nothing like over-priced beer in the middle of the day. Lovely little space though.
 
Fuck yes, we have some Jansch and Renbourn up in this collection, too. My dudes. Not together, but Renbourn with Jacqui McShee should satisfy my Pentangle fix. Renbourn with Pierre Bensusan, too. AND Martin Carthy. Sweeeeeet. Oh man, I need to look at more stuff like this so I get psyched instead of freaking out like I have been.

I have my list on paper at home, so I'll have to get back to you, but they're all long, drawn out, and painful

anything where I lose my ability to interact with other people along the way is the most terrifying
