Picking a negative characteristic associated with a race to be the sole means of identifying the reference in a comment from a speaker who also persistently calls her Pocahontas is obviously racist. I’m sorry your “Donald stands for all my policies” mindset - asserted multiple times without evidence despite your actually naming polices you care about, none of which Donald has actually addressed or agreed with your take on - which couches your real inability to critically evaluate politicians because of the letter next to their name doesn’t allow you to think outside the conservative box on these types of issues.

If I was Native American I would be more offended by her lying about her race in an attempt to gain an advantage than that joke.

I’m a center left moderate who passionately hates trump and the current rendition of the GOP. I voted exclusively for Dems in 2018 and 2018 and will do so in 2020. I just think it’s ok to make jokes. Even at the expense of people or ideas I support. I’m much more concerned with the lie upon which the joke is premised.

All things equal does it matter if one person apologizes for their transgression while another never does (and never will)? Im not saying Warren was correct either.

They were and she apologized and came up with plans to help their communities.

Of course, the truth is that she believed a rather common family myth and didn't go through the proper channels to authenticate her heritage and become a member of a tribe. The whole advantage thing is really dumb. Clearly Native Americans don't have an advantage in our society.
