Why does trump want to do it?
Why does trump want to do it?

Trump will say she got out of her vehicle and was shot by AOC with the assistance of Hunter Biden.
He doesn't value collective security and thinks the US would be fine alone without allies. He doesn't believe in the liberal democractic system that the alliance was designed to protect. He doesn't see the Russians as a threat to his interests in fact he sees them as potential allies.
The Republican members of Congress who are apoplectic (“Shameful disaster unfolding in Syria,” tweeted Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming) have no one to blame but themselves. They are the ones who continue to support a president who has been unabashed in his love of dictators, his disdain for human rights and his willingness to betray anyone or anything to advance his own interests.
Most of the time, the costs of the Trump presidency are inchoate — laws are broken, norms transgressed. But when it came to immigrant children in cages or Kurds in the line of fire, the costs are all too human and horrifying. Are you happy now, Trump supporters? Is all this worth a corporate tax cut?
So Trump leaves northern Syria to protect his own financial interests in Turkey, kowtowing to Erdogan under the auspices of a dictator promising they won’t invade an area they’ve wanted to invade forever. As soon as we withdraw, Turkey invaded and even shells US bases so we will leave the area faster, which we continue to do. This allows high value ISIS targets that we had captured to escape, heavily increasing the threat of ISIS activity in the region. And now, Trump is going to redeploy troops to the area so we can fight back against a growing ISIS threat.
Did I miss anything? This is fucking absurd.
Are we seriously sending troops back in to take over what he just gave up?
