FSU Game Time - 7:30 ACCN

Weren’t they on their own 40 yard line? I don’t think Blackman can throw it 60 yards.

Yeah but the clock was running, the game was ending and they had zero timeouts so your options are pretty limited there.

Let Blackmon throw 30 to Akers. He's a good receiving running back. Take my chances with Akers vs Wake secondary for 30 yards-when he knows he NEEEDS a TD

Sage Surratt's catch just got featured on Randy Moss's "YOU GOT MOSSED"

Clawson acknowledging the mass exodus of our fans at halftime but praising those who stayed. Amen. He is pretty much begging for better deac support against the wuffies. Let's hope he get's it. This team deserves our support.

Eh, it was cold and rainy. Not the most fun environment to sit in.

I left in the 4th and made it home to watch the end. No regrets.

Virginia must be kicking itself for losing to Miami. IMO They should be rising above the rest of the Coastal.

They are counterfeit in that their record and power rating fails to reflect how weak VT is. As an example, would much rather face VT than Pitt, like WF did last year.

I’m thanking all of the fans who stuck it out. Thanks!

Our schedule this year has sucked. It has to be a huge problem factor with attendance. Great that watching wake has become a thing. Football fans like watching our offense. On the other hand our fan base is very limited, and it is brutal to be playing games at night every week.

Most of us have kids, and simply cannot drive hours to the game and then get back.

Additionally there hotel situation around the games is pathetic. Furniture week the fair both causing a mess.

Wake Forest needs to show some balls now and get Deacon Blvd transformed. Huge factor in our lack of game day atmosphere.

Or, what if tickets cost $5. We don’t need the money, and increasing attendance from both alums and the community will pay dividends. $45 tickets and $20 parking is just short sighted.

And the fams deserve better play calling in the redzone. Effing awful last night. Get your coaching act together, score TD's and the fans will stay at the game.

Let me be the first to say this, friend. Shut the fuck up and get some perspective

Couple thoughts while I watched the replay on the elliptical:
-Would Sage Surratt have been the best Ivy League football player of all time if he had remained committed to Harvard.
- Hinton continues to be impressive, I remember doubting all the hype on this summer, but he has done an excellent job in the slot.
- Did Taggart really say that because they haven’t had many rain games they couldn’t really prepare for the wet weather? If that’s the case he should be fired after this season.
- Happy to have Sam but Jamie is at a different level this season.
- If Surratt and Sciba were average college players we would much closer 3-4 this season than 6-1.
- Akers is the first guy this season on an opposing team who I am really jealous of not having on our team, he carried that team.
- 6-1 and feeling good about this team, corrected many of the mistakes from last week.

AJ Dillon > Cam Akers.

AJ Dillon > Cam Akers.

If you just look at running, ok. But Akers is a major threat as a receiver. He had more receiving yards against Wake than Dillon had all last season. Akers has good hands and is nearly impossible for DBs to tackle one on one.

R: Ivy - Sage is great, but he'd have to go a long way to be as good as Sid Luckman or the greatest Ivy League football player ever Chuck Bednarik. I'm sure I'm missing others. Hell, even Ed Marinaro (before he wised up and became an actor) was second in Heisman voting.

Yeah. I’d take Akers over Dillon and Etienne if I was an NFL GM. I’d be fine with the other two though.

When we're inside the ten, how difficult is it to throw three passes with Washington split to one side, Sage to the other, Hinton in the slot and anyone at TE? Throwing from the gun, there isn't enough time to get to our QB with that receiving corps. We should be automatic inside the ten.

What I don't understand is when we played BC in 2006 the stadium was pretty much full vs. Last night and Louisville game 24,000. All three games night and all 3 games meaningful acc games. Just don't understand the difference. Is it because football is becoming less popular with all the concussion issues. I agree they should lower ticket and parking. I hope we have a big Deacs turnout for the wuffies and their idiotic fan base.

I think the parking and ticket prices are the issue. Virtually no chance of getting local walk up traffic when it would cost a family of 4 $250+ to attend a game.

For me it was Wellman the Asshat and TV. I don’t have to drive 3 hours both ways. Oh, and Wellman was/is an Asshat. The ACCN and ESPN makes it easy to stay home.
