Wake Forest Football Recruiting

I mentioned this player earlier in this thread and now he has decommitted. 3-star OLB from Knoxville that was committed to Arkansas until 2 days ago. Like his Hudl film: https://www.hudl.com/profile/6717746/Drew-Francis

2 sport athlete, I see lots of upside, and an easy drive down I-40 to start recruiting him. Could be a nice player to add.

Hope he does well. He might be a candidate for early playing time. Maybe his grandpa can stop by practice and give the guys a tip or two.

I lobe it when their HS coach says he’s a ‘once in a decade’ kid.
Hope he continues to excel at Wake. Would be great to open recruiting doors in the Philly area.

Glad he hit our radar and that it is such a good fit from all indications.
 
Anyone else think we go after Obi Eboh from Stanford and/or Roderick Campbell Jr. from Northwestern? I’d be more of a fan of grabbing Campbell because he’d be able to play immediately. Seems like they’d both be good fits. Obi was PAC 12 All academic honorable mention twice while being at Stanford. Both played a good amount at each school, and were in the 2 deep. Seems like at the very least they would provide some depth.

If you are talking about the Brian Garcia from Ravenswood HS, Brentwood TN, short (5-10) and slender (170). He seems to have only PWO from Austin Peay and East TN State. Two "long pass" highlights on HUDL were both mostly YAC by his receivers.
 
Have we ever gotten anyone really worth a crap as a football grad transfer ? Don’t say KJ Brent.
 
Didn't we have a DL from Canada some years back that played a good bit and helped?
 
E.J. Scott strikes me as the best, 50 receptions for 513 yards and 4 touchdowns, 6 carries for 39 yards and another score. Finished second to Serigne in receptions and yards, and tied him for the team lead in touchdowns.
