I'd love to hear about canvassing in Iowa, MHB. Did you find people open to talk or getting a bit sick of it all? Or were you talking to people who weren't getting contacted a ton?

It must be a bit wild to be in a state where you have that much control over the primary.

I don’t really believe that, but I also think people can present their opposing views online in a respectful and humble fashion. I’ve definitely read a strong argument here that changed my perspective on something I thought I was pretty solid on.

no candidate is putting their campaign resources into debating you online to perhaps subtlety change your viewpoints. That would be wildly inefficient. The people most invested politically are the least likely to change their minds. If someone argues with you online it's because they want to do it, for entertainment. People like arguing. It's not an investment in you.
