B) stating out loud why Dems aren’t nice to him, because he realizes he’s an asshole.

It’s weird that I can’t remember Obama speaking like this about republicans. I can’t quite put my finger on what totally not racist thing about Obama made him such a divider.

Guys like Luntz are among the main people responsible for what the GOP has become. I wonder if he has expressed any doubts (in private, of course) to people about Trump. I'm sure that publicly he's all aboard the Trump train like nearly all other GOPers at this point.

Luntz is just an unbiased researcher who runs focus groups.

But seriously part of the problem with all the money in politics is there is a whole industry of people with no soul whose livelihood depends on winning elections.
