Manning Buyout Negotiations Have Begun

RJ, can you honestly tell us where your source grades? Please be honest. You’ve been real confident in yourself, so you should at least be able to leak where your source is on this list.

This is great. You may want to add a media source. Perhaps put local media between Grade 3 and 4 and national media between Grade 4 and 5.

I had to google Jalen Cone. Only time I follow Wake hoops is March when I hope our coach gets fired.

Totally agree. Probably the worst job in the ACC. Zero recruiting footprint. Terrible facilities. No history. No natural rivals (maybe Syracuse?).

I’ll mention something I heard yesterday that I don’t fully believe, but that kind of jives with what I think RJ has been trying to articulate.

The gist of it is that the contract numbers were a smokescreen to buy Danny another year (or more) because he does things the right way and is supported by those that have the power to keep him around.

That the real number isn’t so onerous.

Like I said, I don’t know if I buy that. It flies in the face of logic and sounds more like a conspiracy theory. But then I think about Hatch and how the consensus is that he really likes Manning.

He may do things “the right way”, other than win, but how can the AD continue to tolerate the lost revenue from one of its two revenue sports?

This is a name I have not heard mentioned but wish I had. He does "owe" us however for taking Oden, Conley, and Cook away from Skip
 
I’m a fairly weak Grade 3 guy with my sauces. But there are multiple. And they never tell me the same stuff. So pretty worthless, I guess.

So you are saying that the person feeding you info is on the same level as Hatch, Currie, Shah, or Manning?
