McGrath is going to run a pretty tough campaign against McConnell. Former marine fighter pilot. KY at least got it right when they bounced Matt Bevin and elected Beshear last year. Unfortunately, every other statewide office resulted in a Republican. So it points to Bevin's unpopularity. But Bevin was a mini-Trump and closely associated himself with Trump. It's possible KY has had their fill of McConnell, even just from the perspective of "throw all the career politicians out". Unlikely, 'cause it's KY, but it could be tight.

Bloomberg and the Dems need to put tens of millions into KY to beat Moscow Mitch. KY Cares is their version of ACA and is hugely popular. The Commonwealth should be blanketed with Mitch wants to kill KY Cares ads.
