I can't fully express how shitty a take this is.
How come? You posted a pretty ignorant take with a big lie the other day.

I hate to hear about what folks in NYC are going through - but, what is going on there now is never going to hit the rest of the country. At least not unless all the people there who have been exposed keep traveling to the rest of the country and taking it with them.
Here you go. We can parse between “lie” and “grossly misinformed to the point of untruth” but this was a whopper.
Louis Gossett Jr. you seem irritated a lot? But, back on topic, the last keyboard cowboy that told me what he was going to do to me online didn’t answer the door when I showed up at his house. Gas is a lot cheaper now than it was then and I don’t have time to wait until sports are resumed again so why don’t you just give me a neutral site? I bet you won’t give a date and time publicly?
I mean we sitting here talking about tariffs? Tariffs? We not talking about Danny right now, we talking about tariffs. Not Danny, but tariffs.
Oh yeah? I stand behind it and the stats will prove me right, when all is said and done. If you can read you will realize I didn't say that things would not get bad, really bad. I didn't say there wouldn't be other hot spots - some may even approach what has happened in NYC, though I doubt it. Cases will continue to rise over the coming weeks - as test results pour in, especially. Deaths will also continue to rise for a while - I sincerely hope for not too long. I hate that many front-line caregivers are coming down with the virus - EMTs, nurses, police officers, etc. - they are in harm's way and are the true heroes. My daughter is a NP and my wife is a nurse so I really fear for them. My daughter's face is bruised from wearing a mask all day every day. She has seen hundreds of kids with cough and fever and negative flu tests - but no indication for a covid test. Has she been exposed - who knows? She is very anxious about it - as am I. I just hope and pray she will be OK.
All I said was that the rest of the country would not become like NYC - not a stretch at all and what shouldn't even be a controversial statement. And yet y'all act like I was saying the whole pandemic was made up... I don't really understand the reaction. And the thing I said about them leaving and taking it with them was just a repetition of a concern I had heard several experts express - the fear that people would start fleeing the bad situation in NYC and end up creating hot spots elsewhere.
I, for one, agree with you. I’m not well versed in the science, but the density of the 9 million people in NYC and the diversity of the population (people from all over the world live or travel to NYC) has made NYC the epicenter of the virus for now. I can’t foresee the same thing occurring in sparsely populated rural areas. Yes, the virus will spread all over the country, but not to the degree we are seeing in NYC. BTW, New Yorkers were invading the grand strand of SC, prompting the powers that be to stop hotel, condo, camp ground, etc rentals until May 1.Oh yeah? Since we have a non political manning thread can I use this one to politically say fuck donald trump and anyone who supports him? Or is this not the right place? Genuinely curious.
Lol
Fuck Donald Trump and all you selfish pieces of shit on here who voted for him
Probably a good policy at all times.BTW, New Yorkers were invading the grand strand of SC, prompting the powers that be to stop hotel, condo, camp ground, etc rentals until May 1.

For those who get upset at Trump supporters on here, this is why it even comes up. They get attacked, and there’s no reason for it, so they respond. It’s perfectly acceptable to respond. It doesn’t do anything, but it’s acceptable. We should have issues with people who bring up anything political on here. If you bring something political on here, THERE WILL BE A RESPONSE. So don’t be the one to start it. I’m sick of seeing politics on a thread about Danny Manning.
We all want the bastard gone. Whether Currie has the money to do it or not is the question. I don’t think there’s any question that he does want DM gone, but I don’t know if the funds are there, especially since the NCAA has cut their distribution by a couple hundred million (I think that’s correct). It sucks, but there’s a chance the virus will save Danny’s job. Every day that goes better is good now. We’ve reached a point now where Currie should have announced a decision. So by each passing day, he may be waiting to see how much of an impact this virus is going to have. If there ends up being no 20-21 season (I don’t think it will get to that), there will have been no reason to fire and hire another coach. I think this confirms though, that if you are able, you should donate to the Deacon Club. John Currie is trying like Wellman never did, and Wellman is the we’re in the situation, not Currie. If you are able, give Currie the money, because he may not be able to do what we all want without it.
Please shut the fuck up. I don’t give a happy damn about your political views, just like you don’t care about mine. Stop fucking up this board and take it somewhere else.
