The bump in UI is a lot more important than a 1 time check. An extra 600 a week (1200 for a couple) on top of state UI for 4 months is a big deal.

NC used to have decent UI until 2013 when Phil Berger, Tillis, McCrory & Company took complete control of the state government and started slashing UI benefits left and right. Can't have the worthless unemployed taking money from our invaluable companies and taxpayers in this state! Now it's pitiful.
